GOBLIN VALLEY

Goblin Valley State Park is a good place to car-camp for numerous nearby slots:  Crack, Ding-Dang, Upper Chute, Quandry, Eardley, Little Wildhorse, etc.  Reservations, through the Utah State Parks website,  are recommended, especially in spring and fall.  The Goblin area is small and can be explored in a couple hours.  Late afternoon is the best time to hike in amongst the beasts.  You never know what you'll find.  I once came across a guy taking photos of two naked ladies perching on various phallic shaped goblins.  Go figure (get it?).
