BRYCE CANYON

Bryce itself is a rather good photogenic place, though the park trails, while scenic, are not particularly challenging.  Like most scenic places, Bryce is best in the golden hours just after sunrise and just before sunset.  Wintertime can be especially good, but because Bryce is high the campground can be extremely cold.  I view Bryce as a good place for a brief visit if the timing is right (i.e. mid-day isn't so great).  A polarizer is useful.  Not just for the sky, but for cutting down on glare from the rocks, especially if there are wet patches.
